What a pass mark means in questions

With 150 questions, a 60% pass mark means at least 90 correct answers; 65% means 98 (97.5 rounded up) and 70% means 105. The document does not say whether results are scaled, so plan to clear the threshold with a margin — aim for 70–75% in your final mocks.

Attempts and waiting periods

Candidates have three attempts at least six weeks apart (two for Ophthalmology). Use the waiting time to target the sections where you lost the most marks, using the blueprint question counts to prioritise.

What is not published

Neither Kuwait MOH nor Prometric publishes the exam fee, the exam language, result timing or how long a pass remains valid on their public pages. The fee is shown when you schedule. Contact the MOH licensing department ([email protected]) for eligibility questions and Prometric for scheduling.

Rules can change

Prometric notes that content, percentages and attempts are subject to change upon department review. Check the current rules before you book.
